Lubbock ISD is proud to offer SOAR, an exemplary prekindergarten program, at select campuses throughout the district. SOAR offers exciting curriculum aligned to kindergarten standards and will challenge students as it prepares them for the rigors of kindergarten. SOAR offers learning experiences based on current research and certified teachers who receive ongoing professional development to hone their skills. Instruction is engaging and is designed to meet the needs of each learner. 

 

Children must be at least four years of age by September 1 of the school year.

Applications for the 2011-2012 school year may be completed with the Early Childhood Department or at the elementary campuses.

Every effort will be made to place students at the school of choice

Applicants will be placed as space is available

SOAR will be offered at select elementary campuses

Parents may apply for SOAR at the campus of their choice

Students will be placed at the parent’s school of choice whenever possible

If space is not available in the parent’s school of choice, space may be offered at a nearby campus

Tuition is $4000 year

TUITION WAIVERS ARE AVAILABLE for children who live inside Lubbock ISD and meet selection criteria established by state law.
